Remembering Summer: The Aperol Spritz

Fresh on the lips, light on the tongue, that's the Aperol Spritz. Easy to make, the Aperol Spritz was the drink of summer for me. It naturally found its way into my glass on lake docks and poolsides. Yesterday was the last day of summer, so before I grab the heavy cabs and bourbon for fall, I'm looking back at the summer of 2020 with a glass half full mentality. A glass of Aperol Spritz, to be exact.


  • 3 ounces prosecco

  • 2 ounces Aperol

  • 1 ounce soda water

  • Garnish: orange wheel
